For the last four years, I believe that I have left my cameras behind on holidays and yes I do have a smaller camera in fact it’s a Sony RX100 mark 3. the truth is I have left this at home for most of my holidays in favour of the iPhone. I have even added some lenses to the iPhone for the same effect as the camera? Why would this seem a natural thing to do?
I genuinely think it’s because I see the phone/camera as an easy process to transport this beautifully crafted flat piece of glass around. Its profile allows for a very compact form and able to deliver the same pixels as some of the smaller cameras. The problem is though everyone has a smartphone and even if you don’t agree it’s here to stay.
